Air Line Pilots Association, International (ALPA) represents and advocates for more than 74,000 pilots at 40 U.S. and Canadian airlines, making it the world’s largest airline pilot union. Our mission is to promote and champion all aspects of aviation safety throughout all segments of the aviation community; to represent, in both specific and general respects, the collective interests of all pilots in commercial aviation. Our MEC

The Canadian North Master Executive Council (CNB MEC) is the governing body that represents Canadian North pilots.

Our LECs

The Local Executive Councils (LEC) are composed of member elected representatives from Ottawa, Yellowknife and Edmonton/Calgary.

Our History

As the world’s largest pilots’ union, ALPA has advanced the piloting profession since 1931. Our pilots joined ALPA in 2008, now expanded to 250 pilots Canadian North has a long history.
